You read that right – that’s one hundred ideas we’re presenting below.
You see, saying “I love you” is important in a relationship. And the more creative you are with it, the better the results.
QR codes are a unique way to do that. Few consider using them for love messages. But we think they’re a good outlet!
But Before We Get Started…
The codes we’ll present below are less than 43 characters in length.
Why? It’s because most built-in QR code scanners (like those in iPhones) only show that many characters per code.
Some phones can show more, but you’ll need a custom QR code scanner for that.

We’ll assume your loved one doesn’t have that installed. And to ask them to do so would ruin the love message surprise, right?
So we’ll stick with the character limit for now. Check out the suggestions below, and pick what suits you best!
The ideas below work both ways. Guys can send them to girls, and vice-versa. After we list those, we’ll look at messages that specifically target guys, and those that target girls. Below is a QR code love message example:
Here are the ideas:
Before sending a love message to your guy, make sure you understand guy psychology well.
What do guys want to be complemented on? They want to feel strong and capable. They want to feel like they can contain you. They want to feel appreciated for their efforts.
The message you pick should fit those criteria. Make him feel like a hero. Make him feel like the only man you’ll ever need! Below is a QR code love message example:
Some messages to send to your guy include:
Girls want to be romanticized more than guys. So you want to pick a message that makes your girl feel like a Disney princess.
You can use swooning love quotes to win her over. Or even better, you can complement her looks, talk about how beautiful she is, etc. Below is a QR code love message example:
Some messages to send to your girl include:
For starters, those quotes are content that shows up after scanning a QR code.
Basically, you need to find creative ways to post QR codes around you home. You want to arouse your loved one’s curiosity, let them scan it, and enjoy their reactions!
Some ideas include…
You can post QR code stickers around your home. Just make sure that they’re in a visible location for your partner to see.
A good spot would be your kitchen fridge. Another would be your bedroom door, or even the middle of one of your desks. Even the corner of a mirror is a good idea!
Also, everyday utility items are a good place to post stickers.
You can post them on your loved one’s coffee mug. You can try hobby items, like sports equipment, a private storage box, etc.
You can go as far as leaving a sticker in your car. They can scan the code while driving to work (or going shopping), only to be left with a pleasant surprise!
Print out your QR code to look like a fake “coupon code.” Give it to your loved one, and enjoy their reaction!
You can also try more mediums beyond coupons. You can use fake menus, fake gift cards, etc.
Speaking of cards, you can post those codes on special “occasion cards.”
For example, if your marriage anniversary comes up, you can post a QR code on a gift card, and have your partner scan it!
You can also do that on Valentine’s Day, or any anniversary relevant to your relationship.
Also, keep in-mind that coupons are easier to spread around your home than stickers. It’s an alternative if you think stickers are messy.
You can place those coupons in your partner’s wallet, clothes, their work or laptop bags, and a variety of other subtle locations!
